Jesus wanted more than anything to be successful. He said it was what drove Him, what haunted Him. He had such yearning for it that He was willing to give up everything to get it. Jesus’ definition of success was “to do the Will of God”. He said it was His food, His delight, His pleasure, and His reason for being. He sought for it from His childhood, and kept it as His compass, His light, His ladder, His altar and His final prayer.
