apparently saturdays for me is like a pack room/house day; diy day of some sorts.
and it’s funny how I always wear the same few pairs of shoes, but every time I discard old unwearable shoes, somehow I will have like 5 or 6 pairs of them.
today I threw away 6 pairs! dropped it in the recycle bin =D
and took one yellow covered-toe shoes (that I haven’t wear for super long cause the colours are worn out) for upcycling! hahaha bling it gold again =DDD
cause the other gold glitter shoe got destroyed in the rain when I went Taiwan =(
mum just sew a top for grandma; gonna upcycle my jeans clothing ltr =D
thnnnn, i need to go fix a lamp
ahhhh and a ‘mountain’ of photos to sort!
I exercised today toooooo, and took a nap just now!
good day! =D
photography is a sport.
from my senior who said this whn I was still in mjc photog club that photog clubs should really be categorized as a sports cca and not under clubs and societies!
which I absolutely agree with! hahaha not applicable to all genres of photography definitely but we do sweat it out and work out man!
imagine holding a dslr that has a grip on, loaded w 2 batteries and a 70-200mm f2.8 lens plus a external flash - heavy leh! I rmb holding this for CNY concert back in MJ, and literally my hands were shivering while I held it up to wait for a shot =O
or imagine holding the same camera n lens while photographing a sports meet, then after you take the runners at the starting line, you kind of run to the ending line b4 they start (so you can reach b4 they actually do) so you can photograph them whn they end too!
or when you wanna like ‘capture the moment’ but ‘the moment’ is like 100metres away - you’ll see us fly there =D
hahahaha - see good work out
today as a photog assistant, I was carrying alot of barang! haha and our photoshoot started at 1pm and only ended ard 8 plus 9-ish. and cause the weather was hot and you’re carrying heavy stuff and sometimes u got to run here and there to get stuff for the couple/photographer; I was exercising lor…
barang is very heavy for a girl too, and I helped hold lights that I have to almost stretch out my arms all the way so it’s high enough and stay in that position till the photographer is done.
sweat like crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ok! hahaha =D
ok yay ‘exercising’ tmr too - must keep fit ya?
hahaha
photography is a sport.
This life therefore is not righteousness but growth in righteousness;
not health but healing;
not being but becoming;
not rest but exercise.
We are not yet what we shall be, but we are growing toward it.
The process is not finished, but it is going on.
This is not the end, but it is the road.
All does not yet gleam in glory, but all is being purified.
